Donald Trump is still releasing his signature rants despite being banned from Twitter.

The former US President has released a statement on his 'Save America' PAC [Political Action Committee] website where he goes on a tirade about the 2021 Oscars, calling it too "politically correct and boring".

In the statement, Trump slammed the ratings for the show, saying they were significantly lower than the previous year.

The former reality TV show host said if the organisers of the awards continue to follow the same "ridiculous formula, it will only get worse".

"Go back 15 years, look at the formula they then used, change the name back to the Academy Awards, don't be so politically correct and boring, and do it right."

ABC's ratings for the 2021 awards were the lowest on record, dropping more than 58 percent compared to the previous year.

Trump claimed the "television people" who run the awards had a political agenda.

"These television people spend all their time thinking about how to promote the Democrat Party, which is destroying our country, and cancel Conservatives and Republicans. That formula certainly hasn't worked very well for The Academy!"

Twitter users posted screenshots of the former President's statement on the social media platform and fired back with a flurry of responses.

Twitter banned the former President from the social media platform in January after the insurgency on the Capitol building.
