Incredible footage captures moment Australian windsurfer is wiped out by baby humpback whale

It's not every day you get wiped out by a whale while wing foiling, let alone capture it on video, but that's exactly what happened to Sydney local Jason Breen.

Breen was out Wednesday morning when his Go Pro caught the moment he collided with a baby humpback whale while enjoying a foil off Mona Vale beach.

The baby whale breached the surface, knocking him off his board, before slamming and dragging him underwater.

Breen told Channel 7 it felt like he was trapped underwater for a 'lifetime'.

"I saw the head come out, then I saw the rest of the body come out and then I saw the whole thing above me and about that stage, I’ve got to be honest, I thought I was in trouble," he said.

"I could feel the mass of the whale like right against my body and the only time I was released was about 20 feet down when the (board’s) leash broke ... as soon as the leash broke then I felt my body wanting to go up to the surface.

The Sydney local escaped without any injuries and said that if it weren't for his arm strap snapping, he may not have been around to tell the story.

Breen says he won't let the collision stop him from getting back out on the water.
