UK police are investigating the death of a woman, whose body was found "in a bin" by a passer-by in north London.
Officers were called to a flat block near Golders Green early in the morning, where a body was found in a recycling bin, with a backpack lying nearby.
The Scotland Yard says the death is being treated as "unexpected and unexplained".
An onlooker who saw the police investigation said a body was "found in a recycling bin" and "police were there checking life vitals and there was a backpack next to the bin with personal items in."
Pictures from the scene, show an area that's been cordoned off by officers, with a backpack sitting on top of one of the bins.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan police confirmed the woman "to be deceased" with "enquiries" into the mysterious death ongoing.
A crime scene is currently in place.
