Former Mercury Music Prize winners Alt-J have scored their first number one album in the UK.

This Is All Yours, the group's second album, has debuted at the top of the new Official Chart Company countdown.

Thrilled band leader Gus Unger-Hamilton says, "We're over the moon to see our album at number one. It was never something we thought we'd achieve, but it's our fans who have put us there, so we owe this to them."

Barbra Streisand's duets album Partners and releases by Sam Smith and George Ezra round out the new top four, while 80-year-old Leonard Cohen scores a high entry at five with Popular Problems.

Meanwhile, Jessie J has returned to the top of the Official Singles Chart with her 'Bang Bang' collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande. The feat is Jessie J's third number one.

And US chart-topper Meghan Trainor has made chart history in the UK by becoming the first American to enter the Top 40 on streams alone. All About That Bass has hit the number 33 spot ahead of its official release this week.
