Annie Lennox's model daughter remains "anxious" as New York police officials continue their search for her boyfriend, who went missing after a kayaking accident over the weekend.
Photographer and model Ian Jones disappeared after the couple's kayak capsized on the Hudson River, and Dutchess County Sheriff's Captain John Watterson has confirmed he still hasn't been found.
The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office and the New York State Park Police have teamed up to search for Jones, 32, as his girlfriend, Tali Lennox-Fruchtmann, awaits some news.
Watterson tells People.com, "She is doing OK, from what I understand. She is understandably upset and is understandably anxious for some results. She is anxious to find him."
Watterson has also scolded Lennox's daughter and her boyfriend for not wearing lifejackets, adding, "I am led to believe these two people had little to no experience with kayaks. They saw it (kayak) there and took it into the river.
"It's extremely important (to wear life jackets), and this case is a sad reminder of that. Going out into the river in a kayak can be more dangerous than people expect. The Hudson River has a strong current and people aren't prepared."
