Executives at Warner Bros cancelled all red carpet interviews at the London premiere of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice following the deadly terror attacks in Belgium.

Over 30 people have been reported dead and more than a hundred were left injured after two explosions rocked Brussels international airport and the Maelbeek metro station on Tuesday morning.

The premiere of the highly-anticipated film took place at the Odeon Leicester Square on Tuesday evening (local time), but the press line for the event was cancelled shortly after the bomb blasts, and reporters were informed stars including Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, and Amy Adams would not be speaking.

"Our hearts go out to the victims of recent terrorist attacks, their families and the communities impacted around the world," a statement from studio representatives reads. "Rather than yield to terror, we've decided to join the film's fans and move forward with the London premiere of Batman V Superman this evening."

The actors have yet to comment on the attacks, but a number of other celebrities, including Miley Cyrus, Kerry Washington, Iggy Azalea, and Ian Somerhalder have taken to social media to express their sadness. Miley has also vowed to help the victims through her Happy Hippie Foundation.

"My (heart) breaks for Brussels today," she writes on Instagram.

Miley, 23, founded the Happy Hippie Foundation in 2014. The non-profit organisation aims to help vulnerable youths, including the homeless and those in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

The Brussels attacks comes just four days after Salah Abdeslam, a suspect in the November, 2015, Paris terror attacks, was arrested in Belgium. According to reports, one of the Brussels airport explosions was the work of a suicide bomber.

Security at the Batman v Superman premiere in London was swelled and put on high alert following the bombings in Brussels.
