Actor Chris Pine is set to romance Gal Gadot in the forthcoming Wonder Woman movie.
The Star Trek star is said to have been cast as Steve Trevor, a US military intelligence officer who has to be saved by the titular Amazonian warrior, played by Gadot.
Pine has reportedly signed on for a multi-picture deal, according to TheWrap.com.
Patty Jenkins will direct 2017's Wonder Woman, with Zack Snyder on board as co-producer.
Gadot will make her debut as Wonder Woman in Snyder's Man of Steel sequel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which will open in movie theatres next March.
Pine is currently filming Justin Lin's Star Trek Beyond and will soon be seen in Netflix's Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp and Craig Zobel's Z for Zachariah.
