Hayden Panettiere has given birth.
The 25-year-old actress and her fiancé Wladimir Klitschko welcomed their little girl Kaya Klitschko on Tuesday December 9, a representative of the couple confirmed to People. Weighing in at 7lbs.14oz, and measuring 20 inches, the new parents couldn’t be happier.
“We are over the moon and madly in love!” they gushed to the publication.
Hayden spent most of her pregnancy out and about and spoke regularly about her impending motherhood. She previously revealed the sex of her baby and shared how she planned to bring up her daughter.
“I’m thrilled that I am having a girl first because I feel like I know a lot about raising a strong woman,” she told Hello magazine last month.
“I feel very empowered myself and I think my daughter will, too.”
Dad Wladimir was also heavily involved with his future-wife’s pregnancy, frequenting accompanying her to antenatal classes. They initially began dating in 2009, but called things off two years later.
They then reunited in April 2013 and got engaged in October of this year.
"I joined Hayden at her antenatal classes," he recently revealed to German newspaper Bild. "She wants to go back to work in February. And I want to stay active, too. Hayden understands how important exercise is for me. But I also know I wouldn't be able to do all this without her."
