Hayden Panettiere has regrets over 'no regrets' tattoo

Actress Hayden Panettiere is undergoing laser treatment to remove a misspelled tattoo from her rib cage.

The former Heroes star had the Italian phrase "Vivere senza rimpianti" - live without regrets - inked down the left side of her body in 2009, but she soon discovered the last word should have actually read "rimipianti".

Discussing the meaning behind the design, she previously said, "My tattoo means ‘Live without regrets.’ It’s not that you don’t regret things in life, but you at least try to learn from them. It’s misspelled too. So I literally have to live by that advice!"

However, it appears she has grown sick of living with the mistake - the TV beauty was photographed in a bikini on Hollywood Beach in Florida on Sunday with part of the text missing, suggesting she is in the midst of the tattoo removal.
