Hilary Barry has bid farewell to Paul Henry, as her final day at MediaWorks begins.
The seasoned broadcaster has been the newsreader on the show since its conception last year, but announced last month she'd be leaving to spend more time with her family.
Known across the nation for her strong journalistic integrity built up over 23 years in the industry, Barry has also become a motherly figure to her audience, who will all surely miss her on-air giggle fits.
In the brief goodbye, Henry said it had been an "absolute pleasure" to work alongside his co-host and wished her all the best.
When propositioned about whether there would be a big farewell later tonight, Barry admitted there would be and said she was excited about it.
