Jamie Lynn Spears could be heading down the aisle soon.
The 21-year-old sister of Britney Spears has been dating boyfriend Jamie Watson since 2010.
It seems things are going well and the businessman says they have even spoken about getting hitched.
“[It] is going really great,” he confirmed to the New York Post’s Page Six.
Keen to follow in the footsteps of her older sibling, Jamie Lynn has been splitting her time between Britney’s Los Angeles mansion and Nashville, where she hopes to launch a country music career.
Her 30-year-old beau admits there will be a lot of pressure on the pretty blonde when she releases her first record.
“I asked her the other night what the hell is taking so long,” he explained.
“But she’s really particular about her stuff. She’s trying to do it right because she knows people will be watching.”
In the past, Jamie Lynn has been engaged to Casey Aldridge, with whom she also has four-year-old daughter Maddie.
Meanwhile, things are not looking good for Jamie Lynn’s 31-year-old sister.
Britney recently called off her engagement to her fiancé and former agent Jason Trawick.
In addition to her rocky love life, it emerged the singer would not return to the US X Factor to reprise her role as judge and mentor.
The mother-of-two is on the brink of signing a US$100 million deal with a Las Vegas hotel group, but sources fear for her wellbeing.
“I'm not sure just how good an idea Vegas is for Britney right now. If she can't handle the X Factor - how will she be able to perform five days a week in Vegas?” an insider told British newspaper the Daily Mail.
