He may be able to do the splits while wasting countless movie bad guys, but the 'Muscles from Brussels' has been easily defeated by a formidable real-life foe: Australian interviewers.

Action film legend Jean-Claude Van Damme lost his cool during an interview with Sunrise and stormed out, complaining about "boring" questions.

"What the f**k is going on with Australia? What the f**k is going on? I cannot do this, I'm too natural, you can blow this stuff away," the actor ranted as he pulled off his mic and walked off.

The star of Bloodsport and Kickboxer complained about the technical set-up of the satellite interview, the fact that he was sweating and being asked about Kylie Minogue, his Street Fighter co-star.

"Those interview you are giving me on TV right now, they are very boring. The question are very boring," rages Van Damme, with far more emotion than he exhibits in most films.

"It's difficult for me to answer the question so I sweat, I don't feel good, because they are boring. Next question? You have something interesting to ask me?"

The Second in Command and Knock Off star admitted in a 2012 interview he had an affair with Minogue.

"Yes, yes, yes. It happened," he told The Guardian.

"I was in Thailand, we had an affair. Sweet kiss, beautiful lovemaking. It would be abnormal not to have had an affair, she's so beautiful and she was there in front of me every day with a beautiful smile, simpatico, so charming."

Despite how poetically he recalled the former sexual encounter then, questions about the 'Locomotion' singer elicited a much snootier response today.

"Yeah, I like Kylie, I like everybody - can I please come to Australia and talk to you?" Van Damme pleaded with Sunrise.

"You are talking to a guy who's very rough, you know? Let me talk, let me talk please. Those questions, the press have been asking me the same questions for the past 25 years. I'm coming to Australia to maybe do something different with the audience."

Van Damme is currently in Thailand for the filming of Kickboxer Retaliation.
