Julianne Moore has won the Golden Globe award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, for her role in Still Alice.
Moore was up against Jennifer Aniston for Cake, Felicity Jones for The Theory of Everything, Rosamund Pike for Gone Girl and Reese Witherspoon for Wild.
Moore thanked the film's creators for going ahead with the production, despite criticism it wouldn't draw an audience.
