Lauren Conrad gets excited about washing clothes with her man.
The 27-year-old fashion designer-and-TV personality is currently in a relationship with guitarist William Tell.
Lauren is quickly taking up domestic duties since the couple began dating last year.
The former The Hills star enjoys cleaning her partner’s dirty garments when they spend a romantic day in together.
“We do laundry,” she laughed to America’s OK! magazine.
“I usually do it on the weekends when I have downtime. Usually a lazy day will be laundry day. You have all the different loads, so it takes several hours to get through it all.”
Lauren is intrigued by the entire process of washing clothes.
She is discovering all types of interesting knowledge about fabric softener she didn’t know existed.
“I think the biggest thing I learned recently is the multiple ways to use fabric softener and how to use it properly,” Lauren explained. “I’ve also learned the importance and the benefits you get from it.”
Apparently Lauren’s affinity for laundry runs in the family.
“I went home this weekend for my grandmother’s 80th birthday, and I told my mom I’d be coming to NYC and I’d be out here doing this,” she recalled. “She was like ‘I love Downy! I’ve used it your whole life.’ It’s funny, because that was the smell of home, and of good laundry. I thought that was neat—it’s the scent that reminds me of home. It’s one of the nice things about having that lovely fresh scent to her clothes.”
