Designer Marc Jacobs is leaving global luxury brand Louis Vuitton after 16 years.
The designer whose clients include Kate Moss, Sofia Coppola and Victoria Beckham, has decided to part ways with the company to focus on his own brand.
The announcement was made by company chairman Bernard Arnault on Wednesday, on the same day Jacobs presented his last collection for Louis Vuitton at Paris Fashion Week.
