Crowded House rocker Neil Finn has urged fans to support Miley Cyrus' new cover of the band's anthem 'Don't Dream It's Over' to help a good cause.
The pop superstar teamed up with singer Ariana Grande to record their own version of the 1986 classic as part of Cyrus' Backyard Sessions project to raise awareness for her Happy Hippie Foundation, which helps homeless youngsters and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) youth.
Cyrus has now won the backing of Crowded House star Finn, who has declared his support for the singer and her project.
He tells Billboard.com, "What a life that song has had. I'm happy to see them enjoying it so much and hope it inspires some donations to a good cause."
