Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston has created a new TV show, which he has described as "pretty much Breaking Bad in reverse".

The Sneaky Pete pilot episode aired on Amazon this week, but the show hasn't been picked up for a full series yet. Cranston, who is executive producer and actor in the show, tweeted live to his 8.15 million fans while the pilot ran, answering all their questions.

The Emmy-winning actor also tweeted a photo of Giovanni Ribisi, who plays the main character Marius on the show, watching the first episode (above).

Sneaky Pete focuses on a conman who steals his cellmate's identity when he's released from prison, an idea Cranston claims he came up with during his last Emmy speech for Breaking Bad.

"Sneaky Pete is in loose terms, it's Breaking Bad in reverse," says Cranston. "It's about a bad guy who discovers reasons to become good."

The name of the character originated from the former Malcolm In The Middle star's nickname in high school because he was "always looking for a shortcut", he told Entertainment Weekly.
