Nikki Reed felt a “weird lack of emotion” when she wrapped the Twilight films.
The actress is promoting the final instalment of the vampire franchise Breaking Dawn – Part 2 at the moment and has hit the campaign trail with her co-star Kellan Lutz.
Talking so much about the movies coming to an end is starting to upset Nikki, which she finds surprising as she didn’t feel emotional after shooting her final scenes as Rosalie Hale.
“I can only speak for myself and I would say there was a weird lack of emotion when we wrapped but looking back on it I think it’s because none of us wanted to accept that was the last day of filming, I don’t think it was because the feelings weren’t there but we didn’t want to acknowledge them. It’s really sad,” she told marieclaire.co.uk.
The upcoming film is one of the most eagerly-anticipated of the year. Nikki is aware fans are desperate to see how the story from author Stephenie Meyer has been translated for the big screen, but is trying not to think about that too much.
“The best way to get through these films is just to focus on the films and not on any pressure behind it otherwise it can be really overwhelming,” she laughed.
Robert Pattinson portrays Edward Cullen in the movie, while Kristen Stewart is his wife Bella.
