Britain's Prince Harry will allegedly be engaged "before the year is out".
The 28-year-old British royal is seemingly smitten with his girlfriend, 24-year-old socialite Cressida Bonas.
It was widely publicised that things between them had heated up last week when reports emerged that Harry had told friends he'd met "The One".
Insiders say things have gone from strength to strength, with marriage on the cards for the couple.
"Cressida is so good for Harry and everyone loves her," an insider gushed to British magazine Grazia. "She was born to be a princess. Everyone is talking wedding bells and we're expecting an announcement before the year is out."
Sources say the couple discussed their future over an intimate dinner held at his apartment last week. This came after Harry and Cressida introduced each other to their respective families.
"Harry seems determined to prove how serious he is about her and that he's in it for the long run," the source continued. "He knows she's The One and they've started tentatively talking about the inevitable next step. It's nerve-wracking, but they're both madly in love."
It was recently announced that Harry will be visiting the US in May.
His last trip to the country resulted in Harry’s now infamous nude billiards game. During the alleged incident, the prince was photographed frolicking naked in his Las Vegas hotel room. After the scandal broke, Cressida is thought to have finished things with Harry, but he won her back through letters he penned her while on duty with the British army in Afghanistan.
"Harry wrote to Cressida throughout his time on the front line," a source explained.
