Variety is reporting that Boardwalk Empire star Michael Pitt is in talks to join Scarlett Johansson in Wellington, for her latest film Ghost in the Shell.
Directed by Snow White and the Huntsman filmmaker Rupert Sanders, the film is an adaptation of the popular anime film. Pitt would play the villain, Laughing Man.
The film is being shot at Wellington’s Stone Street Studios, and Johansson arrived in the country last month.
The film is set for release in March next year.
