Californian pop-punk band The Story So Far is under fire after footage was posted online appearing to show singer Parker Cannon jump-kicking a female fan off the stage during a concert in Toronto.
The woman climbed on-stage during the band's show at Toronto's Mod Club on Sunday night. The footage appears to show her trying to take a selfie as Mr Cannon runs up behind her and kicks her in the back. Cheers can be heard from the crowd as she falls.
Social media users were quick to slam the singer's actions.
"The girl you kicked should press charges," Rodney Caron commented on the band's Facebook page. "You deserve to be arrested and brought before the court on assault charges."
"Doesn't take much to drop kick someone who's not looking," wrote Alex Bowen. "If that was my daughter or girlfriend I'd find you at your next show and beat the sh*t out of you."
Mod Club manager Jorge Dias told Canada's Global News he was "appalled" by the footage and the band is now banned from the venue.
Mr Dias told Global News there were no reports of injuries following the incident.
It's not the first time Mr Cannon has kicked a fan -- there's also footage online of him appearing to kick a selfie-taking male fan off stage in Houston last year.
