Two grizzly bears fighting on the side of the Zonag Lake, in Hohxil, were recorded accidentally when reporters were looking for eight Tibetan antelopes wearing ID collars.

The reporters initially spotted deep paw prints around a shelter.

Before they were able to leave the potentially dangerous area, they saw what appeared to be two grizzly bears fighting in the distance.

However, the sub-adult bears were not fighting. They were exercising their survival skills through fighting, according to Professor Wu Xiaomin, a researcher of Northwest Endangered Animal Research Institute.

Luckily for the reporters, a herd of Tibetan antelopes walked past and ignored the grizzly tussle.

The fighting lasted for more than three hours. Eventually the bears wore each other out and they walked slowly away from the scene.
