Pop star Ariana Grande has claimed she is the hardest working 23-year-old in the world - triggering outraged responses online.
The 'Bang Bang' hitmaker also refers to herself as cute, a CEO and someone who hasn't slept for years in the Instagram post, in which she's pulling off an oversized jacket while clutching a mobile phone.
Grande has received tens of thousands of comments on the post as well as thousands of replies to her tweeting the same message, many of which mocked her claims.
"Yes Ariana Grande is the hardest working 23-year-old on Earth, not the ones struggling making 60 cents a day trying to provide for their families," wrote one Twitter user.
"You don't have to work more than 10 hours a day like other 23-year-old girls, just to earn enough to feed their whole families just for one day," wrote an Instragam user.
"I like your voice but you don't have to be such an arrogant diva."
Other fans have leapt to the singer's defence, saying her comments weren't to be taken too seriously and she is, in fact, a very hard worker.
In 2015, Grande shocked her fans by appearing to lick and spit on doughnuts with a male companion in surveillance footage, before putting them back on a sale shelf.
She also stated "I hate Americans, I hate America", in the video, which she later apologised for.
