The Last Jedi - Olaf interrogates Rey

Star Wars jedi Daisy Ridley as Rey

One of my favourite things on the internet right now is actor Josh Gad and how he's totally, galactically into Star Wars.

He's so into Star Wars, that there is nowhere safe for his co-star on his latest movie to hide.

Gad stars opposite Daisy Ridley in the remake of Murder on the Orient Express, and any peace she thought she might have from the crazed Star Wars fan-base during the shoot was soon shattered.

It first began a few weeks back, as Gad ambushed her (in her pink Coro Street hairnet) in his trailer. Luring her in under false pretences, he soon bombarded her with questions about The Last Jedi.

It didn't work. But Gad was not prepared to let it go.

Ridley was far less surprised when he gave it another crack.

He wasn't silly enough to have another go himself.

Instead, he got some help - from an Oscar-winning legend, no less. Enter stage right, Dame Judi Dench.

Who knows where this will go next.

Kenneth Branagh directs Murder on the Orient Express and Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Willem Dafoe and Michelle Pfeiffer all also star. They too could soon be enlisted for Gad's one-fan crusade for tantalising Jedi intel from poor Rey.

The Last Jedi will be revealed in all its glory on December 17.

Gad will next be seen alongside Emma Watson and Luke Evans in Beauty and the Beast.
