In a new skit, Three jokesters Jono and Ben have revealed what they claim really went on in Lorde's new 'Green Light' video.
The comedians have edited the clip and inserted themselves as hapless drivers who accidentally pick up the singer on her wild night out - but that's not how they see it.
"We filmed this sketch weeks ago with Lorde as a cameo," says the Jono and Ben writers in a statement.
"It was her decision to use some of the footage for her 'Green Light' music video. She will be hearing from our legal team soon."
The video portrays Lorde as Jono's first job as an Uber driver, with Ben along to provide moral support, before one of the most recognisable Kiwis ever gets in and starts wailing away, dancing out the window and carrying on.
"Oi! Get ya blimmin' head back in the windo, what are you doing? Put yur seatbelt on, you'll get a $150 fine," Jono exclaims.
The video has racked up over 7000 views in just a few hours.
Jono and Ben screens on Three every Thursday at 7:30pm.
