Lindsay Lohan unveils social media prank show

Lindsay Lohan has taken to Twitter to drum up support for her new TV show, which appears to be Punk'd for social media.

The Mean Girls star will take over contestants' social media accounts for 24 hours in The Anti-Social Network, and get them to perform embarrassing tasks.

Lohan is reportedly shopping the show around to various networks and is asking her Twitter followers for retweets.

"I love social media. I am social media," says Lohan in the trailer.

"Everybody knows you should never leave your phone lying around, especially near me. So, I've decided I'm going to hijack your social media - your Instagram, your Snapchat, your Facebook, your Twitter, all of it - for 24 hours. If you can pull off three challenges, you'll win some fabulous prizes."

The 30-year-old actress says in a media release The Anti-Social Network will mirror her own turbulent relationship with the media by opening the contestants up to the same criticism she has faced through the years.
