Opinion: The Justice League trailer is super mediocre

OPINION: The first full trailer for Justice League has been released and it is awfully dreary, landing online with a resounding thud.

The DC Comics movies are in trouble.

They seem to be making plenty of money, but surely that won't last if they don't make better movies.

Last year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad were both messes that were difficult to wring any enjoyment out of.

Zack Snyder's Justice League looks more like an animation than a live-action film, the trailer a montage of dire CGI and dullness rather than excitement.

I was hoping it'd be the film to turn this franchise around, but the trailer promises exactly the same sort of mediocrity that Batman v Superman was, only with more characters.

Bummer.

Wonder Woman looks more promising, which is nice, but Warner Bros has had every opportunity to make the first Justice League big screen experience worth the wait. It looks like they have done no such thing.

Justice League hits cinemas in November - here's hoping it exceeds expectations and is worth watching.
