Audio has emerged of the moment Hollywood legend Harrison Ford landed his private plane the wrong way on the runway at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California.
"I'm the schmuck who landed on the taxiway," the Star Wars hero can be heard telling the control tower in the recording, obtained by TMZ.com.
He tells the control tower he was confused after hitting turbulence from an Airbus, and getting distracted by a jet on the runway.
The landing was a "potentially serious" incident, as it happened near a full passenger plane. It was later investigated by the US' Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
