Celebrities react to Manchester attack at Ariana Grande concert

Celebrities including Lorde, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Selena Gomez have take to social media to send their love to Manchester in the wake of a horrific attack at an Ariana Grande concert.

At least one blast happened at the end of the concert at Manchester Arena in the UK, at around 10:30pm Monday (local time). Police have confirmed 19 people have been killed, and around 50 injured.

Ariana herself has taken to Twitter, describing herself as "broken" over the tragedy.

Katy Perry was one of the first to post on social media after the attack, saying she was "praying for everyone" at the show.

Kiwi songstress Lorde said "every musician feels sick and responsible tonight". 

Taylor Swift said her "thoughts, prayers and tears" were being sent to all those affected by the Manchester tragedy tonight.

Nicki Minaj sent love to her "sister". 

Ex-One Direction singer Harry Styles said he was "heartbroken" over the attacks, and sent love to everyone involved.

Fellow ex-one direction member Niall Horan sent his thoughts to the "great people of Manchester and also Ari and her team".

Reality TV star Kendall Jenner echoed similar wishes.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson told the victims and their families to "stay strong".

Bruno Mars said he didn't want to believe "that the world we live in could be so cruel."

Ellen DeGeneres said the news was "so sad and so scary", and sent Manchester all her love.

Singer Shawn Mendes said the attack was "unthinkable".
