The next episode of one of the world's most talked-about TV shows has been leaked, but this time hackers are not to blame.
Game of Thrones S07E06 was accidentally made available online by HBO's European and Spain divisions for a period before the company noticed the mistake.
"We have learned that the upcoming episode of Game of Thrones was accidentally posted for a brief time on the HBO Nordic and HBO España platforms," the US-based media giant said in a statement.
"The error appears to have originated with a third party vendor and the episode was removed as soon as it was recognised. This is not connected to the recent cyber incident at HBO in the US."
Although the episode, entitled 'Death is the Enemy', was pulled after "a brief time", illegal copies were reportedly made.
"There are several high-quality copies of the episode floating around at the moment,' reports the Torrent Freak website.
Just this week, four people were arrested in India over previously leaked Game of Thrones episodes.
The next episode is broadcast in New Zealand on Monday, August 21.
