Auckland's public transport woes have become the latest issue parodied by the University of Auckland Law Revue.

Set to the tune of "Green Light" by Lorde, the parody focused on the plight of Aucklanders trying to make their way across the city in peak traffic.

First the students took aim at P2 lanes describing them as "full of parked cars" and "useless even if you're in a priority lane".

The bus network also got a mention with passengers being forced to "get real close with someone new, that's if the bus doesn't drive right past you".

Cycling is for the brave, "cause all the cars will do their best to get you killed".

The revue also provided listeners with the students' frustrations on transport funding, saying "for f**ks sake why is there no rail to the North Shore, we'll all be dead before there's a train to the airport".

Auckland's newest tunnel also featured, with the Wateriew Connection described as a $2 billion "giant hole".
