Beyoncé and Jay-Z announce, then delete joint tour

After months of rumours, Jay-Z and Beyoncé finally announced a joint tour - only to then dash fans' hopes by immediately retracting it.

The first dates for the superstar couple's proposed On the Run 2 tour were listed on Beyonce's Facebook and Ticketmaster pages on Tuesday. Both were quickly deleted, but fans managed to screenshot the event and corresponding ticket sales pages.

Many have been left confused, but hopeful.

While pre-sale tickets appeared set to go on sale at 10am EST tomorrow, according to screenshots of the announcement, there has been no official word on when tickets will go on sale, if they will at all.

The shows would be a follow-up to Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s 2013 On the Run tour, which was named after a song on Jay-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail album.

Beyoncé was joined onstage by her husband in New Jersey for the final date of her Lemonade tour in September 2016.
