Ryan Reynolds has surprised a Korean TV show like only Ryan Reynolds could - by dressing up as a unicorn and singing 'Tomorrow' from the musical Annie.

The Deadpool 2 star had been promoting the upcoming film in South Korea, but he kept his appearance on the programme King of Mask Singer a secret from everyone - including spouse Blake Lively.

"I didn't even tell my wife" Reynolds admitted.

The show usually showcases the singing talents of K-Pop stars, who keep their identity hidden while singing as judges attempt to guess who they are.

Reynolds didn't compete on the show, but made a special guest appearance which left the audience screaming as he removed his mask.

Addressing the shocked audience, Reynolds said: "Hello, everybody. I'm so sorry about that song."

Despite his comical outfit and song choice, the actor took the opportunity to be on the show quite seriously.

"Thank you guys for having me, this was such a thrill," he said.

"This was an unbelievable honour for me. You guys pushed me to my own limits, and I thank you for that."
