To say Matthew McKenna loves flying might be an understatement.
He's a serial sightseer and he is probably Air New Zealand's favourite and most fervent frequent flier.
This is because Mr McKenna has now flown every domestic route in New Zealand that the airline has to offer and even some trips which are no longer offered.
There are currently 42 sectors and Mr McKenna has flown them all return.
He has earned his Captain's stripes, and not just as a passenger, because he has his own private pilot's licence.
So what's the motivation behind all these journeys and how on earth can he afford to clock up so many hours as a passenger?
