A New Zealand-born Chinese teenager wrote an open letter this week having a go at the attitudes of some Kiwis towards her.
She believes they see her as just another foreigner here to buy their houses.
She's a 17-year-old Kiwi girl, born and raised in New Zealand, who feels so unwelcome in her own country. She was compelled to write an open letter about her experiences.
But sadly she's not alone.
Story went to speak to other young Asians who have experienced some form of racial discrimination and abuse.
