Bank cards belonging to a missing Waikato woman have been found strewn along the side of the road, police say.

Kim Richmond, 42, has been missing for three months and Waikato police are continuing to investigate.

Ms Richmond has a hearing disability and was last seen leaving her Wharepapa South farm, near Te Awamutu, on July 31.

Two bank cards and a "farm card" belonging to Ms Richmond were found on the side of the road on State Highway 46 between Rangipo and State Highway 47 near Otukou.

"We are following up on anything new we receive but still we need the support of the public to help us bring Kim home for the sake of her family," says detective Senior Sergeant Patterson.

The level of Lake Arapuni was lowered so searches around the edges of the lake could be conducted, but a search by police boats and a helicopter on Monday did not find anything.

Ms Richmond was last seen in a silver 2014 Ford Ranger ute, heading south from her farm.

Police ask for anyone with information about her disappearance, or who may have seen someone throwing items out of a vehicle on SH46, to contact them on (07) 872 0100.

Information can also be provided to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
