A couple of weeks ago, we introduced you to British floor layer Derek Alexander who told Story quite bluntly that in his experience, "young Kiwis are lazy".
He was struggling to hire young Kiwis who would commit and turn up to work.
Some of you were wound up, others agreed with him and many of you wrote in saying you would happily work for him.
We passed this correspondence on to Mr Alexander and we were confident our flood of applicants would win him over.
