One person has gone to hospital with serious injuries after a serious assault in central Auckland on Saturday morning.
The attack happened on the corner of Victoria St and Queen St at about 4:30am, police say.
Two men have been arrested and charges will be laid.
Also at 4:30am in the west Auckland suburb of New Lynn someone was stabbed. Police are investigating and no further details are available.
