'Mmmbop' singers Hanson have announced a one-off New Zealand gig.

The trio of brothers will perform at the Auckland Town Hall on June 27, as part of their 25th anniversary world tour.

"Making music together for 25 years is a milestone that we had to acknowledge, and what better way to do it than an anniversary tour," says keyboardist Taylor Hanson

"This year is not only about the two decades of music, it's about celebrating the incredible community of fans who have been with us, singing along year after year," says Issac Hanson, guitarist.

The tour also marks the 20th anniversary of the band's monster hit album Middle of Nowhere, which contained the smash hit 'Mmmbop'.

For the last 15 years the brothers have self-released their records, and since 2013 have also been selling Mmmhops, a craft beer.

'Mmmbop', the inescapable soundtrack to 1997, turns 20 in April.

Tickets to the Auckland Town Hall show go on sale Monday, March 27 through Ticketmaster.
