The search effort to locate missing Auckland woman Kim Bambus will resume on Sunday morning.
The 21-year-old was last seen in Ponsonby on Friday morning when she told friends she was going to Piha for a run.
Her yellow Hyundai car was found on Log Race Rd at around 1am on Saturday morning, near the entrance to the Mercer Bay loop track.
Police and LandSAR scoured the area yesterday but had to call off the search in the failing light.
Ms Bambus was wearing a dark-coloured jacket, pink exercise top and black shorts.
