After a frustrating morning for hundreds of passengers at Auckland Airport, fog restrictions have now been lifted.
The dense mist cancelled 42 flights and delayed another 42, Auckland Airport said.
One flight from Brisbane had to be diverted to Wellington Airport, but will be returning to Auckland this afternoon.
The restrictions were put in place at 7:23am, and come just two days after fog affected more than 100 regional flights.
