How to talk to your kids about porn

It's always been hard to talk to young people about sex, but in 2017 if we don't, it could be damaging.

New Zealand's chief censor says Kiwi youth are seeing more sexual violence than ever before - with most of it delivered to their smart devices, disguised as porn.

The Parenting Place author Petra Bagust told Three's The Project "We need to be engaging our children and young people about respect in sexuality."

"We don't want seven year olds seeing terribly eroticised sexual violence. The time to act is now.

"It's about saying, hey, if you see something, talk to me about it."
