If you've ever thought about how "terrible" New Zealand is with all of the volcano eruptions and snake bites, you're not alone.
A Russian propaganda blog has taken aim at the country with some ludicrous claims, saying it "seems like a fairy-tale country only to those who have never visited it."
The case in question, Ukranian 'Alina', is said to have been forced to collect fruit from trees and catch birds to eat, as locals had no urgency in giving her a job. The blog claims she lost 48kg in a matter of months.
The blog says that soon after arriving, Alina realised "distinctive features of island life are laziness and slowness."
"[Many people] do not survive at all because of the widespread drug addiction, obesity, snake bites, etc.
"Active volcanoes, earthquakes often happen.
"Everything is bad."
The blog says marijuana, although prohibited, is common in "almost every home".
Bizarrely, Kiwi's freedom of speech is framed as a negative.
"New Zealand has long been accustomed to the fact that representatives of the LGBT community do not hide their feelings while in public."
Luckily Alina has now moved to Russia, and the propaganda blog says her snake-free situation is much better.
