A child has been hit by a car in Auckland this morning.
They were struck outside Bumble Bee Childcare Centre on Taniwha St in Glen Innes at around 8am.
The child, believed to be four years old, has been taken to Starship hospital in a critical condition.
Bumble Bee Childcare Centre declined to comment.
The road is currently down to one lane and the Serious Crash Unit is at the scene.
