Fire crews are in attendance after a fire broke out at a house on Racecourse Road in Christchurch on Sunday afternoon.
A fire service spokesperson says three crews are at the scene in Sockburn, where they're still working to extinguish the fire.
An ambulance spokesperson says one person has been taken to hospital. Their injuries were at this stage unknown.
A fire investigator is on their way to the house, but the fire spokesperson says there is no mention of it looking suspicious at this stage.
