One person has been killed in a crash west of Te Kuiti after a car rolled early Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to Oparure Road just after 4am.
The driver was trapped in the vehicle and died at the scene.
The car's three other passengers were rushed to Waikato Hospital.
Two remain in a serious condition while the third passenger is in a moderate condition.
