A car is on fire on Auckland's Southern Motorway, delaying many people's commute home.
The flaming vehicle is parked on the left-hand side of the highway just before the Papakura off-ramp heading south.
The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) has urged motorists to take another way home, saying there will be long delays from Manukau and beyond.
The left-hand lane was closed but has since been reopened.
