The Prime Minister's office has dipped into the Green Party's talent pool and hired Andrew Campbell as its new chief press secretary.
Mr Campbell is currently making key decisions within the Greens as the leaders' Communications and Strategy Director.
Jacinda Ardern's current chief press secretary Mike Jaspers is moving to a less visible role as Chief Advisor, Strategic Communications.
Mr Campbell will begin the job on May 21.
