Bullying rates in NZ among worst worldwide

A high school student has spent six days in hospital after he was bullied at a north Waikato school.

Fourteen year old Krishnan Naidu suffered a concussion and cut to the base of his scalp earlier this month at Te Kauwhata college.

It’s not the first time a serious bullying incident has hit the headlines.

Rates of school bullying in New Zealand are known to be among the worst worldwide.

So are we taking bullying seriously enough?
