Auckland faces significant mumps outbreak

A mumps outbreak is now widespread in Auckland with 300 cases recorded since January - more than the last 16 years combined.

Public health authorities say it poses a serious risk to young people who haven't been vaccinated.

Auckland University vaccinologist Dr Helen Petousis-Harris spoke to Duncan Garner.
